Our Story

It is inevitable how time changes everything. It changes you physically, mentally, and spiritually. It changes our surroundings, starting a new job, exploring a new adventure, and connecting with new friends. Sometimes this change is for the better and other times not so much. But in the end, it changes everything including our families.

If you've never experienced an Italian family gathering, you are missing an experience. From being immediately welcomed and fed lots of delicious food to having to hug everyone (even people you've just met) at least twice while trying to leave, it is an experience you won't forget and might even want again. Suffice it to say, Italian families are close.

It is the childhood memories of this close family connection that formed the need for The Italian Cookie Company. Growing up Italian meant gathering to prepare and eat food almost every weekend. From St. Joseph's Day Altars, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, weddings (oh boy the weddings!!), baptisms, essentially any major life milestone you could always expect lots of food.... AND ITALIAN COOKIES!

But time has changed the way we live. Our world moves much faster now and traditional Italian cookies are a true labor of love. As our older generation of Italians have left us for a better world the traditions of gatherings have changed and with that change the art of Italian cookies has started to fade.

It was time to reimagine our gatherings to keep the tradition of Italian cookies alive, thus The Italian Cookie Company was born. With easier access to these traditional, years in the making, family recipe cookies delivered to your door it is time to share them with the younger generations. It is time to share the stories or our childhood memories and distinct flavors of Italian cookies with everyone. We hear it many times: "One bite and it was like I was sitting with my Grandmother making these cookies again". It is time to make your own moments.
