Retail and Venue Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Bakery Retail & Venue Associate to join our team. This role combines hands-on bakery retail support with client-facing responsibilities for our event venue space. You’ll help package and prepare baked goods for retail sales and shipping, maintain a clean and welcoming store environment, and assist walk-in customers with venue tours and rental scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

Bakery Support & Packaging

• Accurately package baked goods for retail display, custom orders, and shipment.
• Ensure all products are labeled correctly, including ingredients, allergens, and best-by dates.
• Prepare shipping orders according to company procedures to ensure safe and timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas in compliance with food safety standards.

Retail Store Upkeep

• Keep retail displays stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and process sales transactions.
• Monitor store cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining restroom facilities.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
  
  

Venue Support

• Greet and assist walk-in clients interested in viewing our event venue space.
• Provide basic tours of the venue and share available rental information.
• Schedule follow-up appointments for in-depth rental discussions with management or the event coordinator.
• Maintain the venue space in a presentable condition for potential clients.
• Coordinate with the events team to ensure client information is documented and communication is timely.
